Bright World at Textile Days Zagreb 2025: Knowledge, Innovation, and Next-Generation Industrial Solutions

At this year’s Textile Days Zagreb, an event bringing together experts, institutions, and key players from the textile and technology sectors, Bright World presented the future direction of professional and industrial laundry solutions through a lecture by Katia Grgić, our Head of Research, Development, and Education.

Our participation highlighted the importance of connecting industry expertise, practical experience, and academic research — the foundations shaping the next generation of equipment and processes in modern laundry operations.

In her presentation, Katia outlined three key areas of our work: the development and testing infrastructure within the BW Laundry Lab, the progress of our ongoing research and experimental projects, and the new Zeus line of industrial washers and dryers — representing a major technological leap forward in the field of wet cleaning.

BW Laundry Lab: Turning Industry Practice into Research

A major focus of the presentation was the everyday work conducted within the BW Laundry Lab — a hub where partners, service technicians, engineers, and manufacturers come together to address real-world challenges faced by professional laundries.

Katia emphasized that through continuous testing, load simulations, and performance analysis, the Lab generates new recommendations, improved procedures, and optimized equipment configurations for various sectors — from commercial laundries to healthcare and hospitality systems.

Special attention was given to collaborative research projects carried out within the Lab, which combine field data, hands-on experience, and advanced measurement methodologies to deliver more reliable results and better predict long-term equipment performance.

The Zeus Line: Greater Power, Precision, and Wet Cleaning as Standard

The central highlight of the presentation was the introduction of Zeus, the new series of industrial washers and dryers designed for stable performance in demanding conditions and advanced cleaning processes.

What sets the Zeus line apart from conventional models is its integrated wet cleaning capability — a technology that enables the treatment of delicate fabrics without solvents while providing precise control over water, energy, and mechanical action.

Katia noted that Zeus is the outcome of years of testing, real-world data collection, and continuous dialogue with users seeking higher flexibility and process control. This combination of industrial robustness and process finesse makes Zeus highly relevant across a wide range of professional operations.

Networking and Knowledge Exchange: The Foundation for Future Projects

Beyond product presentations, Bright World’s participation in Textile Days Zagreb 2025 had a clear goal — to open new questions, foster collaborations, and explore fresh research directions.

Throughout the event, numerous discussions were held with representatives of academia, technology institutions, and industry partners, with a special focus on projects related to sustainable washing processes, resource optimization, and long-term operational reliability.

For Bright World, gatherings like this are more than opportunities to showcase solutions. They are part of our broader mission — connecting science, operational expertise, and technological development to create solutions that advance the entire professional and industrial laundry sector.
