One Team in Manila: Learning from the Far East

One Team, a united group from Czechia, Slovakia, and Croatia, ventured to the Philippines, landing in the bustling capital of Manila. Our goal? To immerse ourselves in a completely different market and exchange valuable insights. Let's dive into the fascinating world of laundry services in the Philippines and compare it to our European experience.

A World Apart: Laundry Services in the Philippines

Our recent trip to Manila starkly contrasted the laundry landscape we're used to in Europe. While most European households own washing machines, a significant part of Filipino families rely on public laundromats. This difference, driven by factors such as smaller living spaces and cultural habits, has shaped a unique and thriving laundry industry in the Philippines.

LG Leads the Way: Lessons from the Philippine Laundry Market

In Manila, LG appliances impressed us with their dominance in the local laundry industry. Their success can be attributed to a winning strategy that prioritizes customer satisfaction, marketing strategy, prompt technical support, and comprehensive training for new owners. As we explored various laundromats, it became clear that LG's commitment to quality and adaptability has allowed them to thrive in even the most challenging market conditions.

Despite operating in two vastly different markets with different consumer habits, we discovered that customer satisfaction is a focus for both of us.

Our Manila Adventure

Our journey to Manila was an eye-opening experience. We discovered a vibrant laundry industry shaped by unique cultural and economic factors. What particularly impressed us is LG's ability to adapt its products and services to meet specific needs of Filipino consumers.

Our trip to Manila was more than just a business venture. It was also the opportunity to experience the local culture, sample delicious cuisine, and connect with the warm and welcoming Filipino people.
