The city of Żory in southern Poland recently welcomed a massive upgrade to its local amenities. In August 2025, Pralnia Samoobsługowa WashMe officially opened its doors, completely transforming the way residents handle their laundry.
From the very beginning, the owners of WashMe had an ambitious vision. They did not just want to open a standard laundromat; they wanted to create a premium, high-tech facility capable of handling immense volumes of laundry while keeping the customer experience as simple and seamless as possible.
To turn this vision into a reality, they partnered with with our Polish partner to equip their space with top-tier LG Professional appliances and the latest in laundry automation technology.
Challenge: Handling High Volume Without Sacrificing Convenience
Running a successful urban laundromat requires balancing two major factors: capacity and convenience. In a busy city like Żory, customers visit laundromats for a variety of reasons. While some want to quickly wash their weekly clothing, many bring in massive, bulky items like king-sized duvets, thick blankets, curtains, and heavy winter coats that simply cannot fit into domestic washing machines.
If a laundromat lacks the capacity to handle these large items, or if there are not enough machines available during peak hours, customers end up frustrated and waiting in line.
Furthermore, the modern consumer expects a frictionless experience. Having to carry heavy bottles of detergent, guess the correct dosage, or dig around for spare change makes doing laundry feel like a chore. The owners of WashMe Żory knew that to stand out and build a loyal customer base, they needed a facility that was powerful, plentiful, and completely effortless to use.
Solution: Maximum Capacity Meets Smart Automation
To meet these high demands, our Polish partner worked with the owners to install an incredibly robust and versatile fleet of machines. To ensure no customer ever has to wait, they equipped the facility with an impressive ten sets of LG Professional appliances.
This includes five LG Giant washer and dryer sets for everyday loads, paired with five heavy-duty LG Titan washer and dryer sets specifically designed to tackle massive, bulky items with ease.
"I washed duvets and pillows here – everything came out spotless, fragrant, and thoroughly dried. The washing machines are spacious, the use is very easy, and the place is clean and tidy. Perfect when you don't have enough space at home for such large items," Ewa, a customer, told us.
But capacity was only half the equation. To deliver a truly premium experience, our partner fully automated the washing process by integrating BW automatic dosing pumps into every machine. This guarantees that the exact right amount of high-quality detergent and fabric softener is injected directly into the cycle at the perfect moment, eliminating the need for customers to bring their own supplies.
To elevate the wash quality even further, the laundromat features ozone generators. Ozone naturally sanitizes fabrics and eliminates deep-set odors without relying on harsh chemicals or high temperatures, leaving the laundry feeling soft and smelling incredibly fresh.
"A great place to wash large items. I washed my duvets here, and the whole process was very easy, quick, and pleasant. There's also a place to sit and fold laundry. The laundry smells wonderful," said Martyna, a customer.
Finally, the entire facility is tied together with a state-of-the-art app payment system, allowing users to check machine availability, pay digitally, and track their cycles straight from their smartphones.
